ABOUT  KIRK

I grew up on a cattle and grain farm in central Manitoba, Canada. Throughout my childhood, I spent countless hours in the forest that bordered our farmyard, fascinated by plants and animals. There seem to be supernatural threads woven through nature, where the invisible attributes, eternal power and divine nature of God can be clearly seen and experienced. No camera can truly capture these things, just hints here and there, but with my lenses, I am a hunter of those divine threads and desire to share what I catch with others, in the hope that you, too, will feel the call of God.

Interests:

I have been married to the Queen of Hearts for almost 39 years, and we have six children, now grown, who are bringing new sons and daughters into our family. As a family, we have enjoyed many years of wilderness canoeing and camping. The most fulfilling thing I have ever experienced is the presence of God. Strange as it may seem to many, I love reading and studying the Bible. Beyond this, I have so many other interests that there isn't enough time in this life for them all.

My work:

By training, I am a philosopher, a scientist, and a theologian. If these things strike your interest, here is my blog https://www.kirkdurston.com
